I didn’t think they could go any lower than Galar and yet I have been spat on for having hope once again
At this point it doesn’t matter what gen 10 is because I just can’t bother caring anymore

I didn’t like gen 4 much, gens 5-7 were better but still had some notable designs in there that I disliked more than I disliked anything from the first three generations (goodra, incineroar, the elemental monkeys and Hoopa come to mind but there are plenty of others), and gen 8-9 were such a massive and sharp drop in quality that I’ve become numb to every new gen being mostly bad very quickly
Even looking at Galar’s dex I can point out at least 5 lines that I either like in their entirety (Barraskewda, Corviknight, Centiskorch, Galarian Corsola, Hatterene) or enjoy in their final form (Orbeetle, Toxtricity, both Applin evos, Mr Rime, Eldegoss)
I can’t say I like any of these lines nearly as much as I do designs I used to “tolerate” from older generations, but I don’t mind them as Pokémon nor as designs nor in general. I actually don’t dislike them either.
Meanwhile Paldea is just a massive crock of shit that I can hardly bring myself to even tolerate sometimes
If I look at it and then back at generation 1 or 3’s dexes I get fucking whiplash, it’s like changing series completely and going from some weird Yo-Kai Watch rip-off to Pokémon
