Could it be possible that Carmine has a Mightyena evolution that is not obtainable? Instead, you have to do a special gift for it, tied to the new Unova Legends game being hinted at?
Like imagine if to hype up PLA, they gave a gift Kleavor to Sword and Shield.
Maybe I'm just grasping at straws because I'd really prefer an evolution for Mightyena, but I'm also still not quite getting where an alt form is coming into play other than it just being a possibility.
