It could be arranged (if Game Freak gave a shit). Not like Levitate makes a Pokemon float in game. Weezing isn't just rolling on the ground when it doesn't have Levitate as its ability.

Not everything needs a dual type. Feraligatr is fine as a mono-Water type. All it needed was Sheer Force + Dragon Dance to be a menace. I guess it also technically needs to be ADDED TO THE FUCKING GAME to be usable, since Game Freak refuses to bring the ugly croc back.

Stamina works well for it defensively, especially with Terastallization. Unlock Mudsdale, it has actual recovery, and if it were given Body Press, it'd be a late game wincon with a Stamina set forcing you to keep your special attackers alive to put it down.

The problem is that mono and dual types are balanced defensively (dual getting more resistances/immunities is balanced by them also getting more weaknesses). But offensively dual types always win due to getting two STAB.

Also since OP is a retard J-Typhlosion gets Adaptability, H-Typhlosion gets Serene Grace.

Physical set will be viable when Game Freak adds Paldean-Empoleon, but P-Empoleon will have Competitive instead of Defiant so neither of the Empoleon forms will be able to make use of their abilities.

Triage or Flower Veil wouldn't necessarily solve Meganium's issues. It'd still be lacking important coverage, and a priority Giga Drain isn't that impressive when coming off of Meganium's unimpressive attacking stats.
