I'm admittedly impressed by some of the designs we got in Generation 9. There are a lot of them that either feel like they belong in the first two generations or they just genuinely look cool. And as I've seen other people say before, we are now in a time where the developers are designing Pokémon with competitive in mind and fully knowing that it is not just a franchise for little kids so I think this trend might keep up for a little bit and I'm cool with that.
