Serperior is really one-note with a limiting movepool, I can imagine Amoong just being more rewarding to use in a playthrough

I genuinely prefer Amoongus to Serperior, but I'd still say that Amoongus is better as coverage if you pick Oshawott or Tepig. Unless you're doing a monograss run, then use both

Serperior in gen 5 is pretty bad since they never released it's hidden ability for some reason. It has a shallow movepool and gets walled by half the game.
