Why is Gloria so popular?

Untrue. The characters from Pokemon LGPE did not get popular.
Neither did Juliana from the new game. The Switch is not the reason if the pokemon audience was huge from the start.

Juliana has her ship with Arven which is the Hop x Gloria equivalent aka the most populat Gloria's non pedo ship out there. If anything she has something to stand out.

It's really just that Pixiv isn't THAT old, so a newer character like her got more art there by virtue of Pixiv being a bigger site when she was the current girl than it was when other girls were the current girl.

Chicken is the big outlier on that list, and that's because Lillie was just THAT much more popular than her.
