GameFreak is always trying new things. We got something completely new with the Alolan forms. This concept was continued with the Galarian forms and also developed further, so Regional forms can evolve into new Pokémon.

Then, with the Hisuian forms, we got many more. But in Paldea we only have 4 regional forms and something completely new that doesn't have an official name yet, but let's call them Regional Fakes. GameFreak has drastically reduced the number of Regional forms, but why?

What do you think GameFreak will do in the future. Will they continue and develop the concept of regional fakes so that regional fakes eventually evolve into a whole new species like Meowth to Perseker?

Which of the two concepts do you like better and what do you think will happen in the future. I believe they'll get hybrid Pokémon eventually one day. Which is your favorite Regional form and which one do you hate.
