I've seen many people complain the rng of missing a move or dodging due to accuracy/evasion rolls are too inconsistent to be appreciated in a competitive or pvp environment. What are some ways this system could be overhauled or replaced to make the concept of dodging, whiffing, or blocking fairer or more vaible? Damage reduction based on evasion/accuracy? All moves perfectly land but have their power adjusted? Or something else?
