Does anyone else find the aesthetic of early Pokemon technology to be charming? The somewhat bulky machines, the red paint job, big buttons, the big crystals/orbs/lenses, etc. Is there a name for this aesthetic? I've only seen stuff somewhat like this in the Trails series of games. Why did Pokemon abandon this aesthetic for sleek and boring modern day tablets?
