Sure Pokemon has some stellar full art cards, amazing alt arts, and compelling SIRs, but a lot of the Secret Rares in most sets are muddled with CGI like 5Ban and Planeta. Not to mention commons like Eevee 205/264 or Donphan 21/111 are phoned in. Again; taking the cards/sets as an average and not just the highest highs and lowest lows. Yugioh just in sheer volume has Pokemon outclassed. Just the amount of archetypes all have seperate art styles, seperate art directions, themes. And that's just monsters. There are still generic magic and trap cards, tokens, not to mention extra deck monsters... there's quite literally too much to even begin to mention them all. Even before when I mentioned there are no "bad on purpose" cards in DBS or One Piece.. Yugioh has those. And if we want to talk about highest highs, the amount of holo variance in Yugioh is just stupid. Like they have virtually every single kind of holo that other card games have and more. The average Yugioh card is drawn with intricate details and varied colors, by design because they're drawing like dragons with crazy scales or fighter planes that are also robots for some reason or some other crazy wacky shit.
Personally i'm choosing Pokemon over Yugioh any day, but objectively I can't deny that on average, they have better cards.
One Piece I admit was kind of a biased choice and it's new toy syndrome. I still think it's awesome but if i'm really thinking about it would put
Yugioh > Pokemon > One Piece
