I thought goatee man with the zekrom was bad? But he's not actually bad. In the post game you play as young goatee man and apparently he gets to meet Arceus after conquering Arceus land and tells Arceus to go home. Then he flies off on a Hydreigon.
Post game is just playing the same thing you were playing in the main story over and over again. Yeah, Pokemon is like that but this game feels way more repetitive somehow. The stories are all pretty bland, inoffensive, and don't get in your way. If you autistically like this style of game you'll probably have fun, though.
