There is no excuse to not have include them. Retards will argue it distracts from the newest gimmick, yet SM had megas locked to post game and still sold well. They got removed because the retards at gamefreak didnt know how to program megas back in along with current and new mechanics.

And the entire Gen's shilling revolved around that, giving away a Munchlax with a Snorlaxium-Z, a Rockruff and Lycanrocium-Z, the anime detailing how Ash got a Z-Ring, learned to wield Z-MOves and ultimately defeat a Legendary using one of his own creation?
Not to mention the depowering of Megas, so Z-Moves could KO them on neutral hits in the anime, instead of needing a mega yourself (which is why asspull got yeeted at the end of XY&Z).or the fact they didn't even add the mega stones in SM (you know, the most widely bought and played iteration of the Gen 7 games?), save via code gift.
