>>54111335You have to understand, when that screenshot was taken, the internet was a very different place. Even as late as 2005 a lot of peoples desktops still looked like pic related. There were no smartphones, the average internet user came from a first world country, either the US, UK, Western Europe, Japan, sometimes Russia, especially when it came to shady porn and shit but there were virtually no third worlders online back in those days. And everyone who used the web, grew up in a time before the internet, it was a very different breed of user. And that user is sadly gone. They either got old, some of them died, some of them even quit social media altogether.
