Velozolt should be smaller and Electric/Flying or Dragon/Electric.
Dracodrill should have been a dragon/fire type.
Dunkleovisk should be Dark/Water and have a very short body.
Nessy should sto begging for that 3.50 and become a Dragon/Water type.

I understand what GF was going for, the mix and matched pokemon were a good on old British archeologists, but I do agree they should have given us the option to build them properly. That way you can have the mixed up dual/types and the correctly put together monotypes and it would be entirely player choice.

That's a fair point, 12 different pokemon isn't inconsequential, but I still think it should have been the way to do it. The fossils are generally a self contained thing so you'd only get two or three, and they wouldn't dilute catch rates in random encounters since they're fossils.

Plus I think it would have been to see which ones people ended up preferring the most.

Completing the fossils is a bad idea and fans don't know what they want.
If these were the actual designs, they'd be forgettable and boring, and would be the target of ridicule.
But because we don't have the complete designs of the Galar fossils, people want them because of the natural human desire for completion.

I will forever insist primal forms Kiogre and Groudon got should be given to all fossilmons and it would for them get rid of their rock typing, either becoming mono-type or switching it out for something else, and for these guys you could get the "full" mon.
To represent the "real" pokemon they would have been in the past.
