If it wasn't for the teacher girls, she'd have a bigger following. But the teachers cut her spotlight time to nothing

In regards to the Teddiursa, wouldn't it have made more sense to be a Bug-type Fidough, or maybe even a Dachsbun to give a decent challenge to anyone expecting to mow her down with their Fuecoco?

Probably would have made more sense if Katy had a Beedrill or a Combee, what with bears and honey. Although a munchlax would have been more appropriate imo.
I like to imagine it wasn't on purpose or anything, Katy just woke up one day and saw a teddiursa broke in to get to her sweets, and she just shrugs and catches it. It's dumb but it makes me chuckle.
