Genwun is a buggy hideous rushed outdated pile of crap. You only pretend to like this because you had to grow up with it or you want some le hardcore gamer cred, it's by faaaar the worse in the series for blantanly obvious reasons.
Johtroon is nearly as boring and slow as Shitnoh with the same derivative shitty dex mostly shitty baby mons and shitty cross gen evos. Honestly, both gens are probably the worst in the series only slight above gen 1, but at least Shitnoh doesn't have that disgusting level curve and more of a post-game that isn't a shittier tacked on version of KANTOOOOO where everything is 20 levels lower than you.
Now here is the difficult part. Hoenn vs Unova. Both tried something new. Both have the best sprite work in series. Both have very fast battle engines at 60fps, but gen v is slight faster. But gen v has slightly better dex and a more refreshing mon distribution that isn't shackled by genwun pokemon. But gen v has the PWT instead of stupid RNG rapefests in the frontier. But Unova has join avenue to instantly buy berries instead of waiting 12 hours to grow shit. But Unova has an actual story instead of le criminal orginazation recycled for the third time. Gen V just doesn't everything a little bit better and was the much better reboot to the series.
