Why is Typhlosion in particular being gatekeep from coverage when every other fire starter, and nowadays nearly every other Pokemon pretty much has every coverage move they could want.
I understand not giving it stuff like Thunderbolt (most fire types don't get that), Scald (only (non-water) fire type that got that was Emboar, Aura Sphere (most pokemon are stuck with Focus Miss for special fighting coverage so its not like Typhlosion is being singled out), or Boomburst (far more deserving Pokémon don't get it).
But I don't think its unreasonable to say something called the Volcano Pokémon should learn Earth Power. fuck they gave it to Skeledirge despite the damn thing not even having room to run it because the rest of its moves are already so overpowered.
If they're so obsessed with making giving Typhlosion a bunch of physical moves can they at least give a physical set up move worth a damn, what the fuck is Howl? Game Freak copy and pasted CHARIZARD's piece of shit 84 attack, why not copy and paste Sword Dance.
