>>54124280It's cute, dark, funny, edgy, twisted and convoluted, everything the mainline games wanted to be and more, except that Game Freak is incompetent and will never reach that level of world-building and writing again, even if it's all piggybacking from their own franchise and world. People who call it "dark" are not entirely wrong but then again any work that takes itself seriously can be considered dark.
