I assume with GTS you meant that you put something up for trade and then you retrieved it with your other game right? Unfortunately all asymetric trades require HOME app as it holds all GTS capabilities now.
It would require you to have each profile linked to their own HOME account (I believe you can do this but not 100% sure if you can with a single Switch) to retrieve something while using individual HOME accounts through the app. Plus, there is no benefit if what you are aiming at are evolution trades because those are not triggered through HOME trades
tl;dr: If you need to move between profiles, use HOME. If you need a real trade ask here and someone can help
