Yeah, but it's not enough to detract from an overall good experience, unless you're exactly playing it for the main campaign which is just okay even if you go all the way to Red. There's better Pokemon games for that specifically, I'd recommend RSE over it any day of the week and BW and USUM are arguably better despite pace-breaking cutscenes. On the other hand, XY isn't the worst game in the franchise (that's either SS from an overall game design standpoint or DP from a how the fuck do you manage to fuck everything up standpoint), but it's not great at much of anything and is mogged at what it's good at by a bad RS remake, it's just kind of sad and I'm not even sure what Mega X and Mega Y could have done exactly (although more side areas during the main story that isn't in the boring shitty Lumiose would have helped off the top of my head). When the biggest hurdle the fucking XY shitposters have to deal with are constant comparisons to BW, a game that is extremely controversial on /vp/, and they rarely win in the public eye to the point that people recognize they're retarded, maybe XY needs better fans on /vp/. Hell, I'd argue those two guys might have made XY the game with the current most obnoxious fanbase on /vp/ at this point, every other fanbase lashes out at insults of their game, there's been more XY posts that are trying to start shit. It's like that one guy from the genwar discord who tried to force DP as being worse than Platinum for a bit with images that made him look like a retard, it's having the opposite of the intended effect and I kind of think the XY guys should quit like him or at least try different tactics. I guess this thread is kind of new for them, but I'm sure we'll see their spazzing about the DS titles eventually, they can't shut up about it.
