It was alive when I played XY for the first time a couple of months ago. Seems less active now when I hopped on a couple of days ago. GTS is full of bots, but they're easy to spot and avoid (and unlike Gen 7, they don't immediately crash your game when you see them).

Yes. Gts is full of bots but theres still people. Wonder trade still works.

I fucking love how 10 years later I can still go online, catch 5 shitmons and wonder trade to maybe get some other pokemon. I'm gonna miss this when the online gets axed

I don't know why people are saying Gen 7 is nor working. Both work just fine.
However if you try to get a hacked mon from GTS chances are you gonna be banned from trades for a variable amount of time.
