Why do people hate this guy so much? I just finished reading the Emerald arc and he didn't seem that bad. His design looks stupid and he's kind of flighty and Gary Stu-ish for the first half, so probably my least liked protagonist. But he's kind of cool once his character arc actually starts and he has the previous protags to bounce off of in the second half. I didn't see a reason to actively dislike him.
