geodude and machop are only in like 3 maps of all of kanto while sinnoh spams them in literally half the fucking game so that’s not too surprising

Sinnoh is the mountain region so it has the mountain pokemon.
Kanto is the plains region so it has Spearows and Rabbits and pidgys and rats around every single corner.

I’d forgotten how shit Sinnoh’s regional deck was until I got my hands on a heavily discounted copy of BDSP. There’s no thematic, it’s like they used a random number generator to pick which pokemon go where.
