My latest perfect crystal run. I was initially going to use Electrode but when Elekid hatched from the odd egg, I couldn't resist. Electabuzz is really fun to use in gen 2. Donphan wasn't as good as I hoped because rollout missed way too often. Magcargo was even worse than my low expectations. It's way too frail, quick claw wasn't kicking in enough, and it too was missing rollouts a lot (three times in a row at one point). It was useful against Lance's Charizard but that was about it. Exeggutor was fun using leech seed and sleep powder. Politoed was the MVP. It's a special tank. Shame I didn't get the chance to use perish song on Lance but I at least got to use it on Clair's Kingdra. Skarmory was just a filler for safe switch ins. In hindsight, I should've taught it sandstorm.
