I thought Leon was the most popular Champion, but he seems to be lagging behind Cynthia and Steven?
If you were someone new to Pokemon who started with Gen 8 you would think Leon is the most popular and beloved character in the franchise because of how much presence he had through all of it.
Even the official accounts have done a complete turnaround and now is saying that Cynthia is THE Champion rather than Leon.
He's certainly not unpopular, but for someone who got such a heavy marketing push? He shouldn't be beneath any other Champion in term of numbers.
