Pretty much every other Champion but two of them, maybe three if you want to count Alder, have a profession or hobby they're extremely immersed into besides being a Champion, and despite dividing their attention like that they still went and became Champons.
Doesn't that mean that Iris and Leon are the weakest Champions of them all? Think about it. They had to tryhard into pokemon battling 24/7, abandoning everyone and everything, just to be able to become Champions,
Meanwhile all other Champions managed to become Champions while having colorful multifaceted lives full of variety that they still lead even after becoming Champions. They would completely leave those two in the dust if they actually tryharded it like they did just be able to reach the peaks all the others reached without having to sacrifice anything. And there's nothing they could do to catch-up since they've already peaked. What could they even do? Work hard even harder?
That's honestly pretty sad when you think about it.
