YGO cards properly graded always sell for hundreds. Hell the Quim Starlight Rare is going for 2k at a PSA 10 right now. Chances are they couldn't afford the card in the first place to get graded because they don't know where to buy this shit for cheap.
I've managed to get ahold of 8 of those cards for $200, each graded and have made 12.3k or so off of them. These 'investors' have no idea how to actually invest in cards, and are doing it just because its popular and they think they're some kind of economic geniuses.
