See, if you weren't underage, and actually played the games when they came out, you'd know that even the players arsenal of Pokemon wasn't particularly standout around that time, as most shit just learned Normal moves and 1 or 2 STABs, and the games usually had a """"road block""" or two of some kind where you had to do a little more than twitch your thumb on the A button to win. But you dont know this, and your first experience with Pokemon was, as a newborn fresh out the womb, where you picked Infernape in Pokemon Pearl for the Nintendo DS, and proceeded to drool onto your hand-me-down Nintendo 3DS and (very slowly) steamrolled through the game with no opposition, ever.
