You'd wanna have some 1 to 1 training time and she'd suddenly run off because she spotted some strong looking trainer.
Not to mention even if you get did your jollies elsewhere, she'd probably keep telling you about all the battles she's had with other people and how amazing their Pokemon were.
I'd much rather a more loyal rival, she's someone who'd be fun to have a spontaneous battle and go with, but I'd keep things non-commital.
