Razor leaf sucks ass, especially in the couple of double battles in gen4, no idea why people try to hold it up after its only spotlight of gen1.

Use Giga Drain, or preferably, Wood Hammer like a sane person

So does Arboliva but it can learn it for some reason.

And most mushroomons can learn Synthesis when actual fungi don't photosynthesize. Gamefreak doesn't give a shit.

Years later, Torterra with Giga Drain still holds up in-game despite the species' lacking Sp.Atk stat. It's just too good not to use. Giga Drain and Wood Hammer both trump Razor Leaf, just as you said. Would be nice to have a solid Physical Grass move without any drawbacks on Tort, but all of those moves are sort of specific in regards to which Pokemon can learn them.
