>>54198823On the gameplay front, it's a rail shooter with a focus on score attack, there's some fun to be had there trying to figure out how to get the best shot for each Pokemon, and trying to get multiple a run.
On the artistic side, it's neat to see Pokemon doing things in their natural habitats. The modern Pokemon games haven't managed to recapture much of that, so they manage to be worse than an N64 game in that area. This isn't even getting into New Snap which is way better at that sort of thing and I can unironically recommend at least watching somebody else play it. Pretend it's a Pokemon nature documentary (which is something I'd love to see at some point regardless).
