The Hisuian cross-gens are meant to be lost to time at the moment, not magically stopped from evolving out of Hisui ever. It’s very obvious they’ll be re-added as pure cross-gens in Teal Mask since we know they’re in the Pokédex and we know GameFreak likes money. Post Gen 9 they’ll just be regular cross-gens.
