What makes them decide which pokemon get to have meta-defining special snowflake super saiyan forms and which onces get replaced? The patten seems to be pokemon that Game Freak hates get regionals while the pokemon they value get super Saiyan forms, but they clearly never hated Volcorona.

Farfetchd was always the only gen 1 mon I really disliked, G Farffetchd saves it. Sirfetchd ruins him again though. Why did they make him cool finally just to make him annoying again?

I like both the original and G Farfetch'd but I do agree with you, G eeks out over the original. Sirfetch is incredibly ugly though.

This, the issue with edgy redesigns is that they always feel overdone compared to the simple original design. H. Samurott doesn't feel overdone, it feels like it added something the original Samurott was missing.
