They aren't re-selling the older games nor are they putting them on the Online kids. EU laws changed recently, ANY depiction of gambling is an automatic 18's rating (for reference, they had to sell RBYGSC as 12's on 3DS eShop).
Best just pick up LGPE and whatever re-retread they make of Johto/Hoenn, etc because they aren't going to bother with the dinosaur roms any further, but giving another set of whos access to them for a re-remake.

strongly doubt that any past Pokémon games will EVER be on NSO. If anything, Pokémon will NEVER bundle anything mainline with NSO. Maybe some spinoffs, but never DLC or mainline ports.

To squeeze some extra money from the consumers, they'll be sold separately. On top of that, they probably wouldn't want people to have NSO's rewind and Restore Points features. It would probably be more like the VC versions of RBY and GSC on the 3DS which had no restore point feature, but allowed for wireless communication to do trades with other people so that feature doesn't get shafted. Overall, TPC wants to have more control over your gameplay experience. Hopefully they won't go over $10 a pop for each version. But I doubt they're getting announced tomorrow.

Yes it was obvious he was talking about that. Stadium shows they're not above doing such a thing, because Stadium's main draw was being able to transfer in your teams from RBY and in all of Gamefreak's infinite wisdom didn't enable the game to do that, meaning players were stuck with terrible rental Pokemon.

If Pokemon games get added to NSO, expect zero online functionality whatsoever. Not even trading. You'll have to do the Ditto glitch to complete the Pokedex, and those Pokemon will be stuck there forever.

Explain to e how they're not just going to continue to remake them, when that also leads to generating FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR more revenue than 2m @ $10 does? Remember, LGPE hit 15m, some quick maffs gives $900m, $880m than any potential Gen 1 revenue (and that's being VERY generous, as they only hit 1.5m on 3ds VC and Pokémon hasn't cornered the Switch ecosystem, like it owned the 3DS ecosystem).
