Why would unovans name a landmark after a pokemon you can't even catch in the region?

Why not Haxorus bridge? Why not Darmanitan bridge? Why not Heatmor bridge?

It's worse when you realize that the Dragonite skull that Team Plasma had stolen was actually believed by them to be a legendary Pokemon. The Charizard Bridge scene basically shows how everyone knows that Kanto Pokemon actually exist and just highlights how awful the worldbuilding is in this game

I literally explained this last thread. Elephants not living in America doesn't mean America cannot use elephant rock to describe a formation. They're aware the animals exist and such can associate formations and structures with said animals. Stop making this thread.

Yes, Charizard is just a cool Pokémon. It’s like how a lot of countries use lions for motifs even if lions don’t live and has never lived within the borders.
