life's going okay, am just focusing on taking it one day at a time right now

my childhood best friend killed himself last month. i used to spend every summer with him at his mom's house in florida and we'd stay up all night playing pokemon, mainly pokemon stadium and red/blue. ive managed to come this far without crying about it, but am scared that playing a pokemon game will make me get emotional so ive been just lurking and shitposting here instead
