>So many single Mom's because Dad's abandoned their family to become trainers (and just end up vagabond travelers)>Gym Leader is a government-sanctioned positioned, which includes housing (and if you lose more than a certain amount of battles in a row, you lose your position and become homeless)>Everyone over the age of 10 pays taxes, so there are many homeless and poor people struggling on the streets for money, making everyone desperateAnd while no longer canon (if you'd ever consider them), his books have some weird lore he tried to attach to the series
>All of Brock's siblings were from different women>Ash's Mom resents him for stealing her youthful years (since she had him as a teen/early 20s)>Misty loved Ash, but Ash would never love her back (because he's too focused on being a trainer), but Misty would stay with him regardless (and despite Brock making desperate passes at her, which she refused)And he had two possible endings for the series, including a Pokemon Uprising (destroying humanity for it's own hubris and cruelty) or 'it all being a dream' but with the unique twist
of the majority of the events having happened, but we're seeing it through the memories of a decrepit old Ash reminiscing of a more hopeful youth as a withered old man who never achieved his dream. There's a lot more too, but it's more episode/movie specific, like the backstories for characters or their real world inspirations.
