Haven't played since I was a kid, but I'm about to jump into Platinum on an emulator. Is trading very important? Since I won't be able to. I figure I can do breeding and have fun team-building in post-game and transfer them to pokemon showdown to battle people, but I'll be completely missing out on trading. Is it that big of a deal?
