>>54237409I also have Red, Blue, Gold, and Silver for exclusives Yellow and Crystal are missing, but I'm primarily using Yellow and Crystal for dex completion and the diplomas. The other games are speedran to reach the point of version exclusivity or duplicates needed, like more Eevees.

The missing Pokemon from Crystal can be found in a single run through of Gold or Silver, and transferred in from Yellow. I'm also using the Mew glitch to catch specific Pokemon that are otherwise a bitch to track down, like Pinsir and Dragonite. To accomplish this I need to trade mons into Red for leveling and to raise their Special stats to meet the requirements to spawn and catch new Pokemon. The process is slow, but steady, and because I have all the gen 1 games on one 3DS I have to trade them to my second 3DS, which has Gold on it to act as a relay, before I can trade them to the necessary game.
