>>54242706>Kanto - Silph Co. I always go straight for the Card Key on 5F and then have miserable time slowly clearing each floor.
>Johto - Mt. MortarIt is unnecessarily huge and requires using HMs every few steps. All this suffering for underleveled Tyrogue.
>Hoenn - Victory Road (RSE) / Routes 132-134 (ORAS)The worst Victory Road I have experienced in the series. Surprisingly complex and requires too many HMs (FIVE to fully explore it). ORAS made the cave tolerable so I picked the next most annoying place in Hoenn.
>Sinnoh - Victory Road (DP) / Turnback Cave (Platinum)Due to a big level spike at the end of DP, my repels never work in Victory Road. I strongly dislike random encounters so having them in a big dungeon is tormenting to me. Thankfully, Platinum reduced levels of wild Pokemon in the lategame so the cave becomes actually entertaining to explore. On the other hand, Turnback Cave is a bit pointless in Platinum without Giratina. I do not consider it a bad location but it is a bit annoying.
>Unova - Abyssal Ruins (BW) // Pokestar Studios (BW2)Abyssal Ruins are plain irritating with or without a guide. They are a little interesting but I wish they had better rewards.
Pokestar Studios is even worse. Making movies can be engaging but it is not entertaining enough to justify the amount of time needed to complete it.
>Kalos - Route 13A big desert where repels do not help and strong wind makes dodging Pokemon harder. Truly amazing idea.
>Alola - Haina DesertHorrible maze with hard to dodge Pokemon.
>>54239485What you wrote is mostly true but I still like Mt. Coronet. The whole mountain range has impressive size both in game and in lore. I also like its layout. I wish it did not require four/five HMs but I can tolerate it.
>>54239585>no unique encountersSeel, Horsea and Lugia can't be found anywhere else in Johto. At least in GSC.
