Literally every ban Smogon has made this gen has been because of Terastalization, yet they continue to allow this gimmick

Because Smogon is a bunch of literal retards on a power trip.
They love a mechanic, they’ll ban around the mechanic. They hate a mechanic, they’ll ban the fucking mechanic.
The fact that Stealth Rock is literally their favorite thing proves this.

Who do you think "Smogon" is? Everyone who voted to keep Tera around were the people playing the game. If your argument is the "unanimous" thing, that's how literally every other ban has been pushed through. Do you want them to say "fuck all of you, we don't care what you actually want, we're banning tera"? All of a sudden "Smogon" is forcing their beliefs on the playerbase.

While that does make some sense, there are a few problems with it, mainly that if Dudun happens to be running tera Dark, Prankster is gutted instantly, and if you ever Tera your Sableye to get out of a rough spot then CM Duduns can just Boomburst you to death.
