nah, but i plan to after i finish up gen 3. battle factory has been raping me for months.
what sucks about gen 4 is i love platinum and hgss so much and im not sure which one i want to 100%. leaning towards platinum since it feels like the "ultimate" gen 4 game.

Only have the gold card in Diamond. Not enough of a compfag to go for a 100-win streak at the Battle Tower but I am enough of a ribbonfag to get all the Gen 4 tower ribbons, even if the Wi-Fi one is optional now since the battle memory ribbon is gold starting in Gen 9 if you have 7 of the Gen 3 and 4 battle ribbons

It's random what event you get, but if you keep trying, you'll get them. Or if you have a second DS and a Flashcart/hacked (3)DS with Twilight Menu lying around you can download those roms, mess with the date on that (3)DS and get the wonder cards wirelessly that way.

Holy fucking shit. I've kinda wanted to autistically hunt shiny Darkrai and Shaymin so I might actually do this. I really don't want to reset my Platinum save I already got the events on back in the day though so I might do it on my sister's copy of Pearl she never bothered finishing.

Keep in mind that the Member Card & Oak's Letter were never legitimately distributed to Diamond and Pearl.
Not only that, but the items were only distributed through Wi-Fi, so you'll have to do the DNS trick.

Yeah, it works on Gen 5 games.
GTS works too. No clue if people are still trading Magnemites on Join Avenue. Haven't played Gen 5 in forever.

iirc Magnemite can be found early in Virbank Complex, and with Magnet Pull, you can get more Magnemites to trade with people, thus filling up Join Avenues.
It was a lot bigger back when B2W2 were the latest games, but I'm sure it still has some niche for replays now.

Well why not? You can get Silver Card in a single cart in RSE so might as well do that. At least it's not FR/LG where you NEEDED every game and multiple GBA's & GBA Wireless Adapters to get more than copper.
