The best part of Pokemmo is the level cap. It restrictively adds challenge by making sure you aren't too overleveled at any part of the game, forcing you to use good strategies and teams.

Not really, just don't expect to jump to ranked right away.

After doing all the regions you should have a good amount of money from trainers and 31 IV pokemon you can sell, Ditto cave, gym rerun and alphas are always profitable.

The only thing PokeMMO has over the original games is easier access to multiplayer PvP. If I wanted to play Pokemon I'd just play the originals.
