It shouldn't take you an entire game + dlc + throwing yourself at a repetitive task for several hours just to evolve your Ursaring. There's a reason why Ursaluna is in such high demand on GTS.
At the end of the day, Play Pokemon can DQ whoever they want, but you'd have to be delusional to think it isn't totally bogus to neglect the causes for hacking. Make a shitty game that has an awful time investment? You're gonna get hackers.
Now, personally, I don't see the appeal in playing a game you're going to just that blatantly hack; you're dodging half the fun of Pokemon as a whole by severing any connection to the Pokemon you use, even for the sake of convenience. But TPCi absolutely HAS to do better, if for nothing else than for those who were always playing legitimately. It shouldn't take as long as it has to get Ability Patches on top of the 30 extra dollar fee just to earn the ability to grind for hours to afford even just 1 of them. Don't get me started on Tera Shards, nevermind things we don't have yet like the theoretical Rusty Bottle Cap.
As someone who's felt the agony that is older gen mechanics like breeding and contest condition raising firsthand, I promise each and every one of you Anons that these devs DO NOT play their own game, don't you ever forget that. No one who plays their own game would willingly put this many awful time sinks throughout every single one of their games if they had to put up with it themselves, competitive or otherwise.
