New ability: Tunneler
Using Dig will cause Pinsavate to remain semi-submerged in the ground until it switches out or uses Dig again. While submerged it will take half damage from physical moves, and it's own ground type moves will do more damage. However, it will take double damage from ground type moves and and it's physical contact moves will be unable to hit flying and non-grounded pokemon.

But the Scyther line does this because it's based on locust.
Scyther the "fast traveling bug chimera" turns into virtually the same yet "stationary and destructive" forms.
Scyther is a solitary locust, Scizor and Klevor are it's gregarious forms built for attrition and destruction. Also turning from green to a black and dark yellow and red.

But if more Bug types got gregarious evolutions specifically I think it could give the bug type the needed love and the 5-Star Pokemon ALWAYS GETS MY VOTE.
