It has eyes that look like compound eyes.
The proper mantis arms that are more pincher like then blade.
Also has antenna like horns instead of dino like crests.
Also mouth shape is more accurate then scythers.
Small delecite feet/legs compared to scythers reptile like claw feet.
All that aside I think both hit the nail on the head design wise.
Scyther is like a warrior, it has a body shaped like armor and big weapons that go well with its fierce appearance. It's wing size help make it look balanced from front to back.
Lurantis matches flowers not only in color but in geometry. It's rounded and soft looking because flowers, especially animated ones are rounded and soft looking. And the fact you and image creator feel that way about its design means it works. Because it's supposed to be deceptive by nature. Both to protect itself and to eat things.
TLDR: Two diffrent pokemon are totally different designwise, big shocker
