After seeing everyone convince themselves since the second trailer that Clavell was going to be the villain, even though there was no precedent like Rose, it was really fucking cool to see how genuinely fucking based he was. Fuck Penny, he was the actual main character of the Team Star Route, to the point where his fight was the hardest one, with Penny's being the victory lap.
I like Penny's plot with Team Star, that was cool.
Arven was great, loved that his final team consisted of all the food partners against the titans.
Nemona is probably the best out of the modern rivals, her fights were all great, and well worth becoming champion. I liked that they let her use Terastal before you got it. I know people meme her battle personality, but she is the one rival who had the skills to justify it.
