What are your hopes for a potential Pokemon Legends Unova game, IF we do get one?
Should it be in the past like PLA, or in the future this time?
What would you want the starters to be?
Any Pokemon you hope get regional forms or new evolutions?
Should the plot revolve around Kyurem/The Tao Trio, or something else like Victini?

Fill the world with cool stuff to stumble upon that isn’t just wild Pokemon or items. And two, make the game truly open so you can do the main story objectives in any order (with actual scaling, unlike SV). I think a game in a future where Plasma was successfully able to separate man from Pokémon would be cool.
It could explain why so few trainers would have them then, etc.
Imagine Plasma as like the governing authority, too, so everything you’d be doing would be against the law as part of an underground group. Maybe a secret group in the Castelia Sewers?

I want a Mightyena werewolf evolution.
I really had my hopes up with Khu's rumors, but looks like that 'Bloodmoon' form is for Ursaluna.
But I'd rather have a Mightyena evo be in the base-game of a Legends game than in a DLC anyways. That way I can actually use it in a playthrough.
If Pokemon like Ursaring can get a straight evolution in PLA, despite not being native to Sinnoh, Mightyena can get one without being native to Unova.
Plus there's all sorts of werewolf American folktales they can pull from for inspiration.

Based on Khu's riddles, I do think we'll see something akin to PLA for Unova, but I don't think it'll just be Pokemon Legends Kyurem set in the wild west or colonial past like some think.
It may have the Pokemon Legends name, or something similar to it, as part of branding. But I think gameplay wise we may see lots of new stuff, just as PLA did.
PLA experimented. So it makes sense for PLU or whatever it'd be called to experiment too.

Theory on the starters, based on literally nothing.
We can rule out Gen 5 starters, since they'd likely be in the wild as-is.
I think we can possibly rule out Gen 2 and Gen 7 as well, since those Gens' starters were picked last time.
And obviously we just got Gen 9, so we won't be seeing any of those starters this time.
That leaves us with Gens 1, 3, 4, 6, and 8
I'm kinda leaning towards 4, 6, and 8 starters getting regional forms.
Maybe Chespin, Chimchar, and Sobble?

I would be legitimately amazed if we dont get a pokemon legends: Kyurem. The legend series is like tailor made for gen 5. We still dont know what the god stone does, Kyurems original form, the timeline when Unova had a king, or how there was a massive castle hidden underneath the Pokemon league in Unova.

Reminds me of the Red Chain. Left out of Gen 4, only for the idea to be returned to in Gen 8 with PLA.
Would love to see them revisit that concept in a Pokemon Legends Kyurem.
Question is, would the OG dragon be a stand-alone new Pokemon, or another alternate form for Kyurem? Like Kyurem-Complete.

The red chain was in Platinum. The red chain was what Cyrus created with Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf to control dialga/palkia before Giratina interrupted. The god stone was never mentioned even once.

Would like to see some love for those lines too, but if its the game's anything like PLA, they may skip out on all Gen 5 Pokemon. Hisui didn't touch a single Gen 4 Pokemon. They even went as far as to make a regional Sneasel just so they didn't impede anything with Weavile.
Which is a shame, because I'd really love to see a regional Krookodile, or just see something for Druddigon or Heatmor. Not that it can't happen, but right now there's a precedent suggesting we may not see any alts for Gen 5 in a Unova-based game.
That does open the door for Gen 4 Pokemon though, since they were entirely passed on last time. Gen 3 got passed up entirely too, so maybe we'll see some love for those Gens, like how PLA showed a lot of love for Gens 1 and 2.

Chespin is a retarded idea when turtwig is literally based on the world turtle myth, swapping a starter with sinnoh also fits because they got oshawott.

The best fire starter would be fennekin, america literally has desert foxes of its own and is the origin of canids. Not making it fennekin is a huge missed opportunity.

The water one probably won't be sobble because it's too on the nose, maybe primarina.

Although honestly I doubt any would even be based on anything american, they'll probably just be cyborgs.

In BW2 Ghetsis got fucked and the team permanently disbanding is better.

Potential starters
>Grass:
Torterra - Three possibilities. Rock, referncing the Relic Castle and N's Castle by having one grow on its back. Steel, making it like a tank and making it more industrial. Electric, making it like a generator.
Chesnaught - Grass/Steel makes the most sense, making it heavily armored as a reference to America's heavy military.
>Fire:
Blaziken - Apparently wild turkeys and chickens are a thing in New York? Maybe Fire/Flying or Fire/Electric.
Delphox - With less PokeCenters, Delphox develops more into a Healer role than an offensive mage, making it Fire/Fairy.
>Water:
Feraligatr - Makes sense with the New York Sewer Gators urban legends. Typing though, maybe Water/Poison to reference the sewage.
Inteleon - America has agencies, too. Maybe it develops its cloaking skills from life as a Sobble to it can spy more easily, making it Water/Ghost.

There's a flock of wild turkeys in my neighborhood, in Massachusetts. I haven't heard them in a few weeks because they travel around the area, but I'm sure they'll be back. Have to give them a wide berth because they're huge and the males are pretty aggressive.
They also sleep in trees. Did you guys know turkeys can fly? Shit's wild.

There are fairly tall trees all around the neighborhood, so the turkeys don't always sleep in the same place when they're in the area, but when they are in my backyard they can sometimes get the dog going in the morning. She's pretty old so she has to piss a lot, and when she's out back at 6 AM the gobbling as the turkeys wake up drives her crazy.

Thank you all for sharing. Guess Blaziken would make the most sense for being in Unova then, huh.
Personally I'd love to see Sceptile if we got any Gen 3 starter, as well as Delphox over Blaziken, but thematically yeah Torchic makes sense.
Pic rel could work for the Fire/Electric combo. Has Native American influence in the design to boot. May not exactly be fitting for the suggested era, but references American History, so why not.

That just gave me an excellent idea. Cinderace is based on European Football, so what if it got an American football form?
I got pic rel from Google, and it doesn't look too bad. Sadly Fire/Fighting is 100% the best fit for it.
Fire/Rock or Fire/Ground, maybe. Rock would go with the fire-coated rocks it throws, Ground because American football is "down and dirty" so to speak.
MAYBE Fire/Flying if you want to stretch the idea of it "sending those fireballs flying!" it throws so hard.

I feel like new forms for a Unova game set in the future should further fit the urbanized/civilized theme Gen 5 has with many of it's Pokemon.
Like how the starters all represent certain societies, the monkeys are delinquents, Watchog has a vest, Timburr's line is based on construction work, etc.

I liked the idea of it being set in a post-apocalyptic Unova as a way to keep it in the future while still keeping the unclaimed nature aspect that PLA had.

OG dragon probably never truly existed.
All 3 were made from spacerock and were likely man made.
The reaspn they can fuse is because they are made from shards of the same meteor so introducing the 4th Dtagon created by using stone pieces dropped by all 3 others:

May not have the Legends title (Like if they went to the future) and it may have different objectives aside from filling the Pokedex, but I can see the whole 'adventure out there and catch things while trying not to die' thing returning.

Alternatively, the Dragon could have come from that huge ass asteroid that impacted Ancient Unova, given the fact that Kyurem returned to the impact site, the Huge Chasm, after splitting from the other two dragons and being left behind as the husk of the original one, probably thinking it as his home after being abandoned.

Given that the ancient heroes of Unova parallel the legend of Romulus and Remus, with the two founding Unova and then getting on each others throats, they probably some kind Mothra guardian twins situation going on, first humans to come with contact with meteor while adventuring outside, the dragon then imprinting on them and as the only ones able to harness it's power they were able to conquer all of Ancient Unova.

It is a video game. If you like it, you do, and if you do not, then you simply do not. But there is no reason to insult and attack those who hold different opinions.
Plus, a Pokemon Legends Unova could be an opportunity to improve the elements you dislike.

The fucking mystery dungeon series does less than 2 mill average but they have like 5 games
PLA has almost sold 15 million which is more than some mainline games.
