However, you also didn't get this quite right. Spanish people are white, they are Europeans after all and kicked out the Moors. The ones in the South are a bit tanned, but all in all, they are Europeans.
Latinos are basically just a bunch of Indios who would to this day still run around in their jungle without any civilization if the Spanish weren't so merciful to bring it to them. They can't be white.
