Hell, imagine if you were somehow forced to play splinter cell to be able to compete on R6, or idk play tft or get bodied on LoL. Also, if you were to play competitive CS or CoD you could try and use every weapon with every single non banned accessory and perk, right out of the bat, both in tournaments AND TRAINING. It's simply not possible to understand the current metagame without trying out many things, tactics, teams, speads and builds etc in pokemon. GF should NOT enforce the stupid rule which uses faulted tools to detect "illegal pokemon", but should streamline the process for every one, like all the other competitive games do.
Then again, asking /vp/ to be reasonable about something they have no idea what they're talking about, is stupid of me. Try playing the game with no genning/genned ditto breeding/cheated in ability patches, mints, vitamins, money etc. Then go to a tournament, and see what you can win.
